I am a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy registered psychotherapist and a member of the Counselling Division of the BPS. I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
I work with men and women of all ages, dealing with loss, abuse, depression, anxiety, ageing, work-related problems, family stresses, bullying, sexuality, identity, attachment and relationship issues.
I also work with the legacy of boarding school experiences.
I have extensive experience with neurodegenerative conditions and the role of carers.
Alongside my private practice, I am a visiting lecturer at the University of Roehampton and a member of the clinical committee of a well-established voluntary counselling agency in Surrey. I have experience in a women-only agency and with Cruse Bereavement Care.
Before training as counsellor and psychotherapist, I had a senior level career in finance.
